PLAY By AOL Music is is a social music app that lets users listen to tracks from their device along with the music their friends are listening to. After its launch at SXSW, PLAY has been downloaded by over a quarter million users. Available on the Android Market and is coming soon to the iPhone, the app enables users to share and dedicate music experiences, with personalized album art or messages, directly to other users of PLAY or to Facebook and Twitter. Users can also discover new music by following their friends on Play and listening to free AOL Music content like Spinner’s free MP3 of the Day and AOL Music’s CD Listening Parties which full-length previews of up to 20 new and breaking albums from artists like Radiohead, Jennifer Hudson, Britney and Pearl Jam.
