Sony launched the “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity,” that allows users to play music anytime onto a wide variety of Internet connected Sony devices including Sony’s 2010 models of network-enabled BRAVIA® TV, Blu-ray Disc™ player, Blu-ray Disc Home Theater system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system as well as VAIO and other personal computers. It will also become available on a wide range of Sony’s portable devices, as well as on Android-based mobile devices and other portable devices. Offering about six million songs and will continue to expand over time, the “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity™” ” is initially available in the U.K. and Ireland with service availability in other markets including the US. Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand to be announced in due course during 2011.

Pioneer introduced a new pearl white version of its entry-level DJ system comprising of two CDJ-350-W digital media players and a DJM-350-W 2-channel mixer. The new fashionable DJ gears also offer two additional audio effects – Noise and Short Echo. The CDJ-350-W will allow users to create DJ performances with various digital music files, including MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF files. And the DJM-350-W mixer is equipped with four sound effects including the newly added Noise and Short Echo, as well as an isolated 3-band equalizer—all of which allow the DJ to make one-of-a-kind mixes.
